Jeanie Moore's Concerts

I am delighted that the 20th Season of the International Concert Series will be opening on the 19th April this year in the South Gallery of the Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery.

2012 is the 50th anniversary of John Ireland’s death, and the John Ireland Trust are generously supporting two of our concerts. The first is Mark Bebbington’s piano recital on Thursday April 19th followed by an evening performance with the cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, clarinetist Peter Cigleris, and pianist John Lenehan, on Thurday 11th October.

Thursday November 15th welcomes the return of the Fournier Trio. 2012 finishes with a Christmas Music Box on Thursday 6th December. It will be presented by Clive Jenkins, composer and pianist, and the baritone Mark Boocock. This concert is in aid of Plymouth Music Accord.

Finally on Thursday March 7th 2013, the season closes with the Anniversary Concert, celebrating 20 years of wonderful music-making by performers from across the globe. For this event, I welcome the return of four talented and well-loved Plymouth Composers: Philip R. Buttall, Marsha de Thornley Head, Terence Higgins and Clive Jenkins. The guest soloist will be the violinist Peter Fisher.
