Jeanie Moore's Concerts

Over the past 18 years I have organised lunchtime concerts and recitals at Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery, and orchestral concerts at venues throughout the South West showcasing international, and local artistes.

There is a regular audience attending the International Concert Series, many of whom appreciate the opportunity to hear music of excellence at a lunchtime event.

In 2010 the prestigious British Art Show 7 opened in October 2010 in Nottingham at the start of tour to the Hayward Gallery, London, Glasgow and Plymouth, where it is due to open at various venues, including the Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery, from 16th September to 3rd December 2011. For this reason the 19th International Concert Series is returning to the comfortable seating of the Sherwell United Church, which is nearby on North Hill. The 18th Series was also held in the Sherwell Church when the Museum was undergoing preparation for the British Art Show 7, so many will be familiar with the venue and its excellent acoustics. 

Jeanie will be organising the 19th series herself, with support from the Plymouth Music Accord and other sponsors.
